![]() The whole thing comes off as an extremely lazy rush job. Some of the characters' voiceovers are a lot loader than others, even in the same storyboard/conversation. They are loud and distort and generally sound awful. ![]() Some of the voice overs are sampled way too high. The characters themselves have quite a few voice-overs, and whoever recorded these doesn't seem to know what audio leveling is. That excitement quickly faded when we got in to the actual game. I was excited when I heard the title screen music, as it actually seemed pretty good, had a decent amount of bass, and the sound quality as fairly high. First off, the audio in this game is absolutely awful. It's kinda hard to screw up a beat-em-up, right? Wrong. All of those games are mindless button mashers, but they're all fun because the controls are solid, and they all take place in the Turtles universe. I was a big fan of TMNT 2 on the NES, TMNT in the arcade, and Turtles in Time on the SNES. He was excited that it was a 2 player game and I could play with him. I took the game home, dusted off my 360, and we popped this in. The box for this game looked ok, so I decided to pick it up without looking up the Metacritic store. I've watched all of them to date with him, and as someone who used to be a fan of the original 80s show when I was young, actually really enjoy the new series as well.
